Lovely tea break while waiting for my history buff son to go through the exhibits of the National Museum. We ordered the Wagashi and Matcha set as well as the irresistible Mont Blanc dessert. Enjoy everything

It was a lovely tea house. Loved it! The decoration of the house enabled us to experience the matcha in a traditional way. The outside was also breathtaking with nature and everything.

This is a lovely place to stop for a cup of tea. I had a green tea and a citrus mint beverage, both if which were a welcome addition to the morning. The building was relocated after being given to the museum. They give you a laminated page discussing its history as you wait for your tea.

Japanese dessert and mocha tea. Wonderful ambient with traditional Japanese tea, dessert, snack and sitting arrangement. It is located inside the Tokyo National Museum. Very beautiful and feel if Japan I like the cheesecake the best. The mocha tea is too bitter for my kids. The group fruit mint tea was refreshing. It was a new experience for us.

Must-visit traditional Japanese teahouse @tohaku_chakan inside @tokyonationalmuseum garden is a perfect spot to unwind and relax with hot matcha or with their new Sakura drinks. I really enjoyed the hot matcha and wagashi set, priced at 2200¥ matcha was of really good quality and the wagashi was very delicious. Also the staff are all super polite, attentive and helpful and they will guide you to enjoy the traditional tea experience in the right way. The ambiance is very charming and peaceful here, enjoyed my drink while watching the cherry blossoms in the garden. They have traditional tatami style dining. Definitely a must try experience @tohaku_chakan

One Japanese style teahouse (appearance) called TOHAKU CHAKAN inside Tokyo National Museum, selling desserts, beers, onigini, and noddles. Good vibe to have some rest here, and a good place for picture taking.
